The e-learning offerings of DGZfP
DGZfP - Europe's largest academy for NDT personnel
DGZfP Ausbildung und Training GmbH is a subsidiary of the German Society for Non-Destructive Testing e.V. It specializes in the training, qualification, and certification of specialists in the field of non-destructive testing (NDT). With numerous locations throughout Germany, it is the largest trainer of NDT personnel in Germany and Europe. The training courses are held as face-to-face courses and are led by experienced and highly qualified instructors.
Continuing on the path to success: Digitalization of the training program
To further expand its leading role, the DGZfP is pursuing the goal of transferring its in-person training offerings into suitable, digital e-learning courses. This does not eliminate the necessary practical courses and exams. Rather, digital and practical learning units will ultimately intertwine.
Course participants come from a wide variety of industries and must be addressed at very different knowledge levels. This requires the latest teaching methods and thus the use of media such as video, photos, explanatory graphics, animations, audio, simulations, and other interactive elements. Such an e-learning production requires not only considerable human resources but also a great deal of expertise. Therefore, the DGZfP asked the Evaluation Experts content team for support and commissioned us to create the digital training courses.
Implementation with flexible teams
The true heroes of e-learning production are the DGZfP instructors who guide us in understanding, implementing, and reviewing the content. They do this with great patience and high commitment, because the regular operations with in-person training continue “on the side.” Our goal is therefore always to respond as flexibly as possible to the circumstances. For the DGZfP, we recently completed several courses on magnetic particle testing (Magnetic Particle Testing Level 1, Level 2, Level 1/2, and Recertification).
Using content from the Level 2 course, we produced a trailer for the DGZfP's digital training program, which offers exciting insights into the making of the e-learnings. But see for yourself.
